The Cooperative Financial Professional Certificate (CFPC) is an intensive, three-part finance program for senior and mid-level finance and accounting staff. It is a collaborative program between CFC and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA).
Program Focus
The program provides a comprehensive financial analysis of a hypothetical cooperative, with a strategic emphasis on equity management, debt management, and treasury/cash management. To help you develop yourself into your cooperative's chief financial consultant, you will learn about communications and branding while expanding your cooperative network.
Sessions
CFPC includes two, one-week training sessions, supplemented with online Web conferences and work assignments. The first session is held in the Fluno Center for Executive Education at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. This is followed up later with a series of online Web conferences. The final session is held at CFC's headquarters in Dulles, Virginia.
