Keynote Speaker: Dr. Glenn Hubbard
Don't miss the presentation by noted economist Dr. Glenn Hubbard. Since 2004, Hubbard has been dean of the Columbia Business School in New York City. From 2001 to 2003, he was chair of the White House Council of Economic Advisers under President George W. Bush. Hubbard's responsibilities included advising the president on economic policy, tax and budget policy, emerging market financial issues, international finance and environmental policy. He also chaired the Economic Policy Committee of the OECD.
In the corporate sector, Hubbard is on the boards of directors of several companies including Met Life, BlackRock Closed-End Funds and KKR Financial Corporation. He also has served on the advisory boards of the Council on Competitiveness, the American Council on Capital Formation and the Tax Foundation.
Hubbard has written more than 100 scholarly articles on economics and finance, as well as two leading textbooks on financial markets and economics. His commentaries appear frequently in Business Week, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Financial Times and the Washington Post. He also appears regularly on PBS's Nightly Business Report and NPR's Marketplace.
NCSC 2012 Annual Meeting
This year the NCSC Annual Meeting will be held in conjunction with Forum 2012 in New York City. The date for the 31st NCSC Annual Meeting is is Tuesday, July 10.
New Officers
Following the CFC Annual Meeting, the CFC Board of Directors will elect new officers for a term to expire at the end of the 2013 CFC Annual Meeting.
