Delegates from all districts elected newcomer Bill Roberts to a three-year term on the board to fill the at-large financial expert director position. Since 2009, Roberts has served as vice president of finance and chief financial officer for Buckeye Power in Ohio and will be filling Barbara Hampton’s seat following CFC’s annual meeting in June 2025. He is a member of the G&T Accounting and Finance Association and is the chair of the Finance and Treasury subcommittee and a member of the Executive and Planning committees.
At the October 22 Districts 8 and 10 meeting in Kansas City, Missouri, delegates elected newcomer Jimmy Taylor to a three-year term on the board to represent District 8 and reelected Kendall Montgomery to a second three-year term to represent District 10. Taylor serves as the board president for Northfork Electric Cooperative in Oklahoma and will be filling Dennis Fulk’s seat following CFC’s annual meeting in June 2025. Montgomery serves as general manager and CEO for Fort Belknap Electric Cooperative in Texas.
At the October 8 Districts 2 and 3 meeting in Columbia, South Carolina, delegates elected newcomer Mike McDonald to a three-year term on the board to represent District 2. McDonald serves as board secretary-treasurer for Washington Electric Membership Corporation in Georgia and will be filling CFC Board President Anthony Norton’s seat following CFC’s annual meeting in June 2025.
At the September 17 Districts 5 and 6 meeting in Minneapolis, Minnesota, delegates elected Shane Larson to another three-year term on the board to represent District 5. Larson serves as the CEO for Rock Energy Cooperative in Wisconsin.
At the September 25 Districts 7 and 9 meeting in Sacramento, California, delegates reelected Charles Abel to represent District 7 and elected newcomer Scott Peters to represent District 9. Both will serve three-year terms on the board. Abel serves as a director for Sangre de Cristo Electric Association in Colorado. Peters serves as CEO for Columbia Rural Electric Association in Washington and will be filling Brad Janorschke’s seat following CFC’s annual meeting in June 2025.
At the September 5 Districts 1 and 4 meeting in Grand Rapids, Michigan, delegates elected Laura Phillips to a three-year term on the board to represent District 1. Phillips serves as board secretary-treasurer for Delaware Electric Cooperative. She will be filling Thomas Bailey’s seat following CFC’s annual meeting in June 2025.
