Accounting and Finance for Cooperative Leaders
CFC is excited to launch a new program to strengthen the financial acumen of cooperative executives and senior leaders. The new Accounting and Finance for Cooperative Leaders (AFCL) program helps cooperative leaders without a finance or accounting background strengthen their financial acumen. The program equips participants to make strategic financial decisions, support organizational growth and deepen their understanding of the cooperative financial landscape.
Note: The 2026 training is currently full, but you can learn more and join the waitlist via the button below. Those on the waitlist will receive priority access if a space becomes available for the 2026 program and for the 2027 program, which will be scheduled and announced this summer.

The training is structured for various skill levels: Basic (Level 1) and Intermediate (Level 2).
CFC is proud to offer the Key Ratio Trend Analysis (KRTA) Certificate Program. CFC has published KRTA—an annual report that tracks the median value of 145 financial and operational ratios for participating electric distribution cooperatives over the previous five years—since 1975.
