CFC, NRECA, NRTC and Federated Rural Electric Insurance Exchange are gearing up to host orientation sessions in 2024 for new electric cooperative CEOs, CFOs and directors/trustees. Hear from seasoned cooperative leaders, learn more about your national organizations and network and build peer relationships in our complimentary orientations! 

New Director Orientation

January 31–February 2, 2024

Recently elected directors/trustees explore critical issues affecting the energy industry, gain valuable information about cooperative governance concerns and learn about resources available through their national organizations—all while building an invaluable peer network of fellow electric cooperative directors.

New CEO Orientation

March 20–22, 2024

Designed for CEOs and general managers with less than two years of experience in their new role, this course provides an in-depth overview of key electric utility and cooperative management issues and challenges, along with forging connections with new colleagues from around the country.

New CFO Orientation

April 16–18, 2024

New CFOs or those holding the senior finance role at their system enjoy interactive sessions that help them discover national programs and services available to help CFOs address finance, regulatory and accounting issues affecting their jobs and their cooperative.

All complimentary orientations will be held in Northern Virginia at CFC and NRECA headquarters.
