NCSC Members Elect New Director, Three Incumbents

NCSC held its 41st Annual Membership Meeting on June 20 in Boston during the CFC Forum 2022. NCSC Board President Wayne Stratton, director for Shelby Energy Cooperative in Kentucky, shared details about two new financial products and highlighted some of NCSC’s project financing over the last fiscal year.

“I’m excited to share that we pursued two new loan products in the last fiscal year that I believe will provide even more value to our members,” Stratton said during the President’s Report. “We have started a leasing program that offers financing for bucket trucks, electric vehicles or any other rolling stock. Members asked us for this service, and we’ve delivered.”

He also shared that NCSC is in the final stages of establishing the capability to facilitate private placements for its members. The service expands its ability to help members that have large capital needs connect with investors.

“We understand you like no other financial institution, and we are also known issuers in the investment market,” Stratton said. “We can help our members tell their story to investors better than anyone else.”

During the annual meeting, members elected a new director and returned three incumbents to serve three-year terms on the board.
