CFC has launched a five-part online training series to assist electric distribution cooperatives that don’t borrow from the federal Rural Utilities Service in filling out the CFC Form 7—the annual financial and operating report used by CFC for credit underwriting and loan decisions as well as to calculate Key Ratio Trend Analysis data.
“These short video tutorials—broken into modules that can be viewed in full, or by topic—guide electric cooperative CFOs or senior-level accountants through the process of accessing, completing, checking and submitting their CFC Form 7,” explains CFC Manager of Member Training and Education Casey Bell.
The tutorials cover:
“Each of the five modules is divided into chapters—28 in all,” Bell concludes. “We believe they answer any specific question one of our members may have.”
