Annie loves to dive deep into decision making under uncertainty. Her latest obsession is on the topic of quitting. In particular, she is on a mission to rehabilitate the term and get people to be proud of walking away from things.

Annie is an author, speaker, and consultant in the decision-making space, as well as Special Partner focused on Decision Science at First Round Capital Partners, a seed stage venture fund. Annie’s latest book, Quit: The Power of Knowing When to Walk Away, will be released October 4, 2022 from Portfolio, a Penguin Random House imprint. Her previous book, Thinking in Bets, is a national bestseller. As a former professional poker player, she has won more than $4 million in tournament poker. During her career, Annie won a World Series of Poker bracelet and is the only woman to have won the World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions and the NBC National Poker Heads-Up Championship. She retired from the game in 2012. Prior to becoming a professional poker player, Annie was awarded a National Science Foundation Fellowship to study Cognitive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania.

Annie is the co-founder of The Alliance for Decision Education, a non-profit whose mission is to improve lives by empowering students through decision skills education. She is also a member of the National Board of After-School All-Stars and the Board of Directors of the Franklin Institute. She is serves on the board of the Renew Democracy Initiative.

Brett Williams is a co-founder of IronNet Cybersecurity Inc. Williams is responsible for product management, product engineering, the security operations center, client training, product and information security, red team operations and internal company operations.

During his time as an Air Force general officer, Williams served in four senior executive leadership positions. As director of operations at U.S. Cyber Command, he led a team of 400 people responsible for global operations and defense of all Department of Defense networks and planning and execution of authorized offensive operations.

Williams led a variety of large, complex organizations ranging from 300 to more than 9,000 personnel. He was an F-15C pilot with more than 28 years of flying experience, including more than 100 combat missions.

Peter Guber is a successful business leader with experience across a variety of entertainment-based platforms. He is chairman and CEO of Mandalay Entertainment Group; the operating owner of the 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2022 NBA Champion Golden State Warriors; owner of the 2020 World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers; and owner and executive chairman of Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Football Club. Guber is the only three-time winning owner of the Sports Business Journal Awards.

In 2020, Guber executive produced the documentary “The Last Dance“—the Emmy Award-winning series that chronicles Michael Jordan and the 1990s Chicago Bulls.

Guber’s prior experience includes serving as president of Columbia Pictures; owner and co-founder of Casablanca Record & Filmworks; chairman and CEO of Polygram Entertainment; and chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment.
