New CFC Programs Strengthen Executive Readiness

Executives who completed the Harvard Certificate Program were invited to continue their development through the Duke Certificate Program in Durham, North Carolina. Hosted by CFC, NRTC and Federated, the program covered visionary leadership, change management, automation’s effect on energy operations, leading an artificial intelligence (AI)-augmented workforce and communicating innovations. 

CFC, NRTC and Federated also introduced the CEO Development Program with the University of Idaho for recently hired CEOs. The program leverages the university's more than 70 years of energy education to focus on the changing energy landscape, technology and culture.

In addition, CFC, NRTC and Federated hosted the third Harvard Certificate Program, which focused on AI, strategic self-leadership and change management. 

Financial Leadership Series Adds Program for Non-Finance Leaders 

Earlier this year, CFC held its second Empowering CFO Growth Program for early career CFOs. The program provided in-depth education on finance, communication and technology. 

Emerging Leaders Series Launches 

This summer, CFC launched Accounting and Finance for Cooperative Leaders for more than 30 non-finance electric cooperative executives. The program provided a foundation in cooperative accounting and finance to help participants make more informed financial decisions. 

CFC also launched the Advancing Leaders Program for rising cooperative leaders nominated by their CEOs. Hosted by CFC and GreatCo-Ops, the intensive training helped participants strengthen their leadership skills and prepare for future career opportunities.
