Non-Rural Utilities Service (RUS) borrowers have until April 30 to submit their CFC Form 7. The data from the CFC Form 7 assists in credit underwriting and loan decisions in addition to letting members see how they perform in the Key Ratio Trend Analysis (KRTA) report.
CFC developed a five-part online tutorial series to guide electric cooperative staff through the process of accessing, completing, checking and submitting the CFC Form 7.
The tutorials cover:
“Each of the five modules is divided into chapters—28 in all,” CFC Director of Member Training and Education Casey Bell explained. “We believe they answer many specific questions our members have, and we hope to develop more in the future.”
Save the date for the Extra Credit Education Series webinar at 3 p.m. on April 19 that will provide tips for completing and submitting the CFC Form 7.
“I look forward to the opportunity to share CFC Form 7 tips, lessons learned and answer members’ questions during the webinar,” CFC Senior Manager of Financial Products and Analysis Bettina Kimmel said. “Our hope is the pandemic will not delay members’ submission of their forms this year. The sooner forms are submitted, the sooner CFC will publish the KRTA report.”
