CFC Form 7 Tutorials, Webinar Available

Non-Rural Utilities Service (RUS) borrowers have until April 30 to submit their CFC Form 7. The data from the CFC Form 7 assists in credit underwriting and loan decisions in addition to letting members see how they perform in the Key Ratio Trend Analysis (KRTA) report.

CFC developed a five-part online tutorial series to guide electric cooperative staff through the process of accessing, completing, checking and submitting the CFC Form 7.

The tutorials cover:

  • An orientation to the CFC Form 7;
  • Step-by-step instructions for importing data;
  • A guide to navigating each section of the form;
  • Using balance checks and tools for validating data; and
  • How to certify, authorize and submit the CFC Form 7.

“Each of the five modules is divided into chapters—28 in all,” CFC Director of Member Training and Education Casey Bell explained. “We believe they answer many specific questions our members have, and we hope to develop more in the future.”
