Non-Rural Utilities Service borrowers have until April 30 to submit their CFC Form 7. Data from the CFC Form 7 support credit underwriting and loan decisions and allow members to see how they perform in the Key Ratio Trend Analysis (KRTA) report.
CFC recently launched an enhanced CFC Form 7 to streamline reporting, improve transparency and deliver deeper financial insights.
A key upgrade for the 2025 reporting cycle is the introduction of new Financial and Operational Dashboards, which support the review, validation and analysis of submitted data. Built in Power BI, these dashboards provide a consistent, visual view of financial and operational performance.
The new dashboards include the Key Results Dashboard, which delivers a boardroom-ready, standardized view of key Form 7 metrics, and the Analytics Dashboard, which offers interactive visualizations to analyze current-year actuals against budgeted and prior-year values, making it easier to identify trends and understand underlying data.
The enhanced CFC Form 7 also reduces data entry requirements through a new CFC data import file. This file incorporates prior-year Form 7 data, billed debt service for CFC and CFC‑serviced loans and historical KRTA ratios, helping minimize manual entry and improve data accuracy.
To support members in completing their CFC Form 7 by the deadline, a variety of resources are available on the CFC Member Website, including a comprehensive instructions document, the new Financial and Operational Dashboards user guide and online tutorials. Please note that CFC staff are in the process of updating the tutorials to reflect recent enhancements.
