Former Co-op CFO Rob Carr Joins RVP Ranks

Cooperative and finance veteran Robert Carr has joined the CFC staff as a regional vice president serving members in Alaska, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington.

With more than a dozen years of electric cooperative experience, Carr is a familiar figure for members in the Pacific Northwest. He has served as chief financial officer at Tanner Electric Cooperative in Washington State since 2007 and also has been president of the Washington Rural Electric Cooperative Association, the statewide.

“I am excited about the opportunity to work with CFC member systems in the Northwest and advance CFC’s core values of service, integrity and excellence,” Carr explains. “The Northwest has been my home for many years, and I am looking forward to continuing to work with my co-op friends.”  

A certified public accountant, Carr started his career as an auditor before moving into treasury and finance positions. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Florida Atlantic University. He also holds the NRECA Cooperative Financial Professional Certificate and the Northwest Public Power Association Financial Professional Certification.
