NISC Chief Vern Dosch To Retire

Vern Dosch, president and CEO of National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC), will retire at the end of this month. Dosch has been at the helm of NISC since 2002, and served as chief operating officer prior to that—a post he assumed in 2000 when North Central Data Cooperative (NCDC) and Central Area Data Processing consolidated. Dosch was general manager and CEO of NCDC for seven years.

“I wish Vern all the best. He has been a great champion of the cooperative business model, as well as a forward thinker and reliable partner of CFC. He has built an honorable legacy that is today NISC,” comments CFC CEO Sheldon Petersen.

In October, NISC—a leading provider of software and solutions to utility and telecommunication companies—announced it would honor the outgoing president and CEO by naming its Mandan, North Dakota, campus for him.

“I have had the good fortune to be the spokesperson for this company, standing on the shoulders of all of the talented NISC employees, and it has been a complete joy and privilege,” Dosch said of his departure.

CFC’s ties with NISC go back many years. Hear Vern Dosch describe the relationship between the two organizations from the very beginning.
