As the year comes to a close, make sure to save the date for dynamic cooperative events coming up in 2025, including CFC Forum, CFC IBES, CFPC, orientations for new electric cooperative directors, CEOs and CFOs, and our new CEO and CFO executive leadership series for those in their roles for 1–3 years.

CFC Forum 2025

Save the date for CFC Forum 2025 being held June 30–July 2 in New York City. Forum is CFC’s annual conference on issues and challenges facing the electric cooperative network. Registration is complimentary for CFC members and their guests.

CFC IBES 2025

Make sure to mark your calendar for the next year’s CFC Independent Borrowers Executive Summit (IBES) 2025 in Marco Island, Florida, November 17–19. IBES is CFC’s annual conference for senior and executive-level staff of independent rural electric systems. Registration is complimentary for CFC members and their guests.

2025 Cooperative Orientations

CFC, NRECA, NRTC and Federated Rural Electric Insurance Exchange will host orientation sessions in 2025 for new electric cooperative CEOs, CFOs and directors/trustees. Hear from seasoned cooperative leaders, learn more about your national organizations and network and build peer relationships.

Our 2025 cooperative orientations will take place:

• New CFO Orientation, February 5–7.
• New Director Orientation, March 26–28.
• New CEO Orientation, April 2–4.

All orientations are complimentary and will be held in both Dulles, Virginia, at CFC and Arlington, Virginia, at NRECA.

Cooperative Financial Professional Certificate (CFPC)

CFPC, an intensive, two-part finance program for senior and mid-level finance and accounting staff, is a collaborative program between CFC and NRECA. 2025 dates are:

• Session 1 in Madison, Wisconsin: April 28–May 2
• Session 2 in Dulles, Virginia: June 9–13

2025 Fall Program

• Session 1 in Madison, Wisconsin: August 18–22
• Session 2 in Dulles, Virginia: October 13–17
