Election analyst, best-selling author and founder and director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics Dr. Larry Sabato will join NRECA CEO Jim Matheson on September 29 at 1 p.m. ET for a special virtual event designed for cooperative executives and featuring a customized political outlook and networking opportunities.
Dr. Sabato is a New York Times best-selling author, recipient of four Emmy awards and one of the nation’s most respected political analysts. He is a professor of politics at the University of Virginia and the founder and director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics. He is the author and editor of more than two dozen books on American politics, including the editor and lead author of the recent book, “The Blue Wave,” which explores the 2018 election and its outcome. Dr. Sabato appears weekly on national and international news including FOX, CNN, MSNBC and CNN International. A Rhodes Scholar, he has taught more than 20,000 students in his 40-year career and received the University of Virginia’s highest faculty honor, the Thomas Jefferson Award.
He edits Sabato’s Crystal Ball, an award-winning political newsletter and website. The Pew Charitable Trust recognized the Crystal Ball as the number-one leader in the field of political prediction, and The Daily Beast designated it as one of the top political websites.
