CFC recently rolled out an update of its seminal publication, “Consolidations, Mergers and Shared Management Services: What Electric Cooperative Leaders Need to Know.” The report reviews key questions that boards should tackle and the processes generally undertaken when moving consolidation, merger or shared-services discussions forward.

Divided into five sections, “Consolidations, Mergers and Shared Management Services” features:

• Lessons learned during past electric cooperative consolidations and/or mergers.
• Helpful exhibits such as sample board resolutions that can be tailored to fit the needs of each system.
• An appendix lists all electric cooperative mergers/consolidations/other structures completed since 1980.
