CFC Board President Dean Tesch Passes Away

November 3, 2020

Dear Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that CFC Board President Dean Tesch died Saturday, October 31, at home in Stetsonville, Wisconsin, surrounded by his family.

Dean was a talented, humble man who has left a huge mark on CFC. He often referred to the CFC board and employees as his family. He will be greatly missed.

As CFC board president, he led the board through an unprecedented time and ensured CFC was able to move forward while keeping its members and staff safe.

With Dean’s passing, and according to CFC bylaws, Alan Wattles, CFC board vice president and president and CEO for Monroe County Electric Cooperative in Illinois, will serve as CFC board president with full leadership authority. A special board meeting will be held in the next week to elect a new president and fill any open officer positions, if necessary.

Please keep the Tesch family in your thoughts and prayers.
