Following the announcement of several senior vice president retirements last month, CFC announced two new members joined the CFC senior leadership team, effective June 1. Gary Bradbury was named senior vice president of corporate services and Mo Saleh was appointed to a newly created position of senior vice president and chief risk officer.
Bradbury is responsible for internal audit, human resources, employee development, facilities, physical security, corporate insurance and the business center. Bradbury previously served as CFC’s vice president of internal audit and enterprise risk management (ERM) for 20 years. He led the internal audit function and conducted reporting to the CFC, NCSC and RTFC boards. He also created the ERM program and facilitated ongoing activities under the direction of executive management and the CFC board.
Saleh is responsible for credit risk management, credit standards and policy, counterparty credit risk, special situation management, asset-liability management oversight, and macroeconomic and financial market research. He is also responsible for cybersecurity, ERM and information technology.
Saleh rejoined CFC in 2016 after leaving the company in 2005 to pursue a career in commercial banking and international financial regulation. During his tenure at CFC, Saleh has held various positions across the treasury and finance functions including vice president of financial risk management. Previous roles included responsibility for CFC’s short-term funding and treasury operations, overseeing CFC’s investment portfolio and hedging interest rate risk.
“Gary and Mo bring a strong track record of successes in their previous CFC roles and have no doubt they will raise the bar for their new responsibilities and functions,” CFC CEO Andrew Don said. “I look forward to working with the new CFC senior leadership team as we deliver on the CFC board’s blueprint to ensure CFC remains our members’ most trusted financial resource.”
