CFC Debuts Upgraded BudgetPro 5.9

CFC BudgetPro—a Microsoft Excel-based model designed to assist electric cooperatives in preparing their operating budget—has been enhanced and is now available online to electric distribution cooperatives.

Members can download it from the CFC website today and start enjoying the new features:

• Improved payroll security with the use of encryption
• Better, more simplified charts and graphs
• Upgraded capital forecasting that now budgets the cost of retiring capital plant in separate detail and also allows users to manually budget depreciation expenses by asset class
• Expanded capacity to now model up to 600 employees
• Ability to accurately model the financial implications of FASB 158
• Option to create new Excel tabs within the model
• A simplified home page design

CFC BudgetPro is part of a series of financial tools, including the KRTA Toolpak and CFC Compass, designed to help cooperative staff become more efficient and effective on the job. All versions of the program are available for download from CFC’s member website (login required).
