Jason Mowery has returned to CFC to fill the post of regional vice president (RVP) for the generation and transmission (G&T) portfolio. Mowery was a financial analyst and supervisor in CFC’s Capital Market Relations group for 11 years before relocating out of state.
“I enjoyed working with our G&T members in my prior role at CFC, and I’m looking forward to assisting them in an even greater capacity now,” Mowery remarks. “I know what a vital role our members play in their communities, and I’m very excited to be rejoining the team and supporting America’s electric cooperative network again.”
Mowery most recently served as senior manager of Treasury for Anvil International where he was responsible for cash management and forecasting, banking and investor relations, debt compliance, and financial risk management for the manufacturing company headquartered in Exeter, New Hampshire. He also served as treasury manager of Watts Water Technologies in North Andover, Massachusetts.
Mowery joined CFC in 2003 and was promoted to senior financial analyst three years later, assuming the duties of supervisor in Capital Market Relations in 2011. He worked closely with CFC’s banking partners, rating agencies and members. He also played a key role in managing CFC’s syndicated loan portfolio and has extensive experience structuring and closing syndications, mostly for G&T members. He left CFC in 2014.
Mowery holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from James Madison University. He and his wife Jennifer have moved back to the Northern Virginia area with their daughter and son, Quinn and Brix.
Mowery replaces former RVP Katrice Simpson who is now vice president of finance and accounting with Allegheny Electric Cooperative, a G&T in Pennsylvania.
I know what a vital role our members play in their communities, and I’m very excited to be rejoining the team and supporting America’s electric cooperative network again.
